He was one of the three youths who represented the “Enough is Enough” campaign and went into 12 days hunger strike after the government failed to act as per the agreement made with them to handle the Covid-19 pandemic in a better manner. The Nepali music industry is a powerhouse of talent. Since the inception of music, so many artists have made their mark in the listeners' hearts. Some singers have emerged who worked so brilliantly in their fields; one such artist is Sunil Upreti, one of the most celebrated pop singers of the Nepali Music Industry. He has been involved in Nepal's music scene for around 30 years now. He used to be the vocalist of the Prism band and had also worked with a few other bands-the Legend bands being one of them. He has sung many numerous hits songs and has a truly unique ability to mould his voice. Sagar Jhai Gahiro, one of the most popular song was sang by Sunil Upreti, which was relesaed in 90s. Nepal won its first major international beauty pageants title when Santosh Upadhyaya, a 29-year-old medical doctor from Lalitpur, became the third runner-up in the grand finale of Mister Supranational 2021 held at Strzelecki Park Amphitheater, Nowy Sacz, Malopolska & Poland. This is Nepal's first-ever participation in the international pageant. The brand specialties are mostly on high end Cashmere Products, Evening & Bridal wears. She also serves as Director on the board of Radisson Hotel Kathmandu, Nepal. Known for her elegant and contemporary style that fuses traditional Nepali colours, fabrics and embroidery, she is credited with helping bring Nepali fashion cultures to the international stage. Through her use of delicate Silk and Nepali Dhaka Fabric and the country's most talented craftspeople, Mishu Shrestha has sought to redefine age-old Nepali traditions in the contemporary era, creating a style that is both rich in Nepali aesthetics and modern sophistication. Her signature style – a combination of traditional Nepali aesthetics and modern flair was an instant hit, and her designs have been worn by celebrities on the ramps of Kathmandu's most elite fashion shows, at the beauty pageants and during the Cannes festival in 2018. She is the first Nepali designer to ever be invited to Cannes Film Festival where she showcased her western apparel inspired with Mithila art and Prayer flags. Mishu Shrestha also introduced Anjali Lama during Cannes Film Festival, who is already a big name in India as Lakme Fashion Week's first transgender model. He started his musical career as a flautist. He wrote his first lyrics in 1963, and his first musical composition was recorded in 1964. His musical works encompass nationalistic/ patriotic, spiritual, romantic, philosophical, dancing tunes, ballads, musical compositions, ode to women and womanhood, songs for children and youth and thematic songs on environment, sports, scouts, etc. His renderings range from purely classical to folk, modern and music specially created for women and children. In all this variety he has maintained his sensitivity and finesse in captivating and maintaining the Nepali touch. He had also opened a studio named “Gopalaya” at his home in Basundhara. He had prepared a fusion of band and folk music to perform in the coronation ceremony of King Birendra at Dasarath Rangashala in 2031 B.S. He has written two books named “Sangeetanjali” and “Geet Manjari”. He was the editor of “BAAGINA Publication”. He was the contributor of Music & Dance Section of the Rough Guide on Nepal by David Reed. He was a recipient of several awards such as; Chinnalata Award for Outstanding Contribution to Nepali Music (1992), Priya Award for 25 years dedicated outstanding contribution to Nepali music (1995), Suprabal Gorkha Dakshin Bahu, Chinnalata Geet Puraskar, and many more. He is the fourth Asian to be archived in the Cornell University Library in New York, USA. She has conducted a study and led the campaign against sexual harassment in public transport in 2011. She has led a movement against sexual abuse in Tribhuvan University in 2011, and has initiated the campaign for meaningful dialogue for peace in Lalbandhi, Sarlahi, Saptari, Dhanusa, Parsa, Chitwan and Kathmandu, and continuously engaged in relief work for reoccurring floods in Saptari and Siraha in 2016 and 2017. She has also received the N-Peace Award and Women PeaceMaker in 2012. She has written a poetry book called “Shanti Ka Pailaharu”. She has also written several books, “Dignified Menstruation is Everyone’s Business”, “Apabitra Ragat”. She has received Madan Puraskar Award for her book “Jumla: A Nurse’s Story” also known as “Khalangama Hamala” in 2014. Inspired by challenges she has faced throughout her life, she started the global campaign for the Global South Coalition for Dignified Menstruation. The name "Ani Choying" symbolizes charity, humility and empathy. She is a Nepalese Buddhist nun and musician, internationally renowned for bringing many Tibetan Buddhist chants and feast songs to mainstream audiences. Her musical career began in 1994 when U.S. guitarist Steve Tibbetts during a visit to Nepal met Ani Choying and listened to her chanting. He was immediately impressed with her singing talents and eventually managed to record it on a cassette recorder in a small shrine room. The result was a collaborative album Cho, which was released in 1997. Ani Choying has been involved in several humanitarian works. She has been recently appointed as the UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador to Nepal. She has come a long way from there and has today become a role model for women's empowerment in Nepal as well as across Asia.

Mira Rai is a Nepalese trail runner and sky runner. She has participated in many international competitions and has won numerous awards. She was the winner of 2017 National Geographic Adventurer of the Year. Born into poverty in the remote Himalayan foothills of Bhojpar in Nepal, Mira had an unusual start to life for a now internationally recognised ultrarunner. With her family struggling financially due to the Nepalese Civil War, at the age of 15, Mira decided to join the Communist Party insurgents as a child soldier, in order to support her family, and escape traditionalist barriers surrounding the role of women in Nepali society.

It was during her time training as a child soldier that she found her passion for running – a passion that saw her go on to not only become one of the world's best female ultrarunners, but become a symbol of hope for Nepal.

A multitalented personality, Ashesh Malla (born 1954 in Dhankuta, Nepal) is a playwright, theatre director, Co-founder and Artistic Director of Sarwanam Theatre Group. An Associate Professor of Nepali Literature in Tribhuwan University, Nepal, he has won many prestigious awards like Sajha Purashkar, Musyachu Puraskar, Moti Award for his contribution in the field of Nepali theatre and art. He is the pioneer of street theatre in Nepal. He also served the Nepal Academy and headed the theatre department for five years. He also worked as a Board of Member of Nepal Television in the early ’90s. He is an honorary life member of Nepal Academy.

He has published more than 25 books, including books of plays, poetry and fiction. His recent publication is a book on street theatre, Sadak Natak: Siddhantha, Srijana ra Prastuti (Street Theatre: Theory, Creation and Presentation). All the plays of Sarwanam are written and directed by Mr Ashesh Malla.

Dev Rana is better known as a legendary drummer for one of Nepal’s first-ever official rock ‘n’ roll band. He has been playing the drums for forty-five years. At an early age, Rana was influenced by Western music. He was born in Malaysia and went to the British School where he had classmates from all over the world where he developed a taste for music. During the ’70s his life revolved around music and hanging out with friends. When the Prism band was formed, their gigs turned into professional performances where they were paid to play at different locations and gained popularity among the public. Some of his greatest musical influences include Ringo Starr, Mitch Mitchell and Dave Weckel. Anushka graduated from the Australian Catholic University in Sydney with the Executive Dean’s Commendation in 2017. Girish Khatiwada is one of the first and the most influential rappers of Nepal and was labelled the "Godfather of Nephop" by The Diplomat Magazine. He is also a radio, television personality, and a vlogger. Girish started his career at the age of 15 with his first track "Meaningless Rap" in 1994 and became mainstream with his counterpart Pranil Timalsena with other tracks like Timi Jaha Pani Jaanchhau, Malai Vote Deu, Hami Dherai Sana Chhau. During the late 90s, GP took inspiration for their music from the instrumental parts of American hip-hop who would then incorporate traditional Nepali folk song with the help of Nepali audio engineers. This led to the formation of a new Nepali music genre "Nep hop" in the late 90s, which he later named "Lok Hop. Khatiwada took a break from Nepali hip hop to continue his higher studies in the United States in 2008. He came back to Nepal in 2013 to continue his career in music, radio, television and YouTube.
