Live Interview with Suresh Kumar Chettri

Suresh Kumar Chettri is widely regarded as one of the best Nepali singers of all time and from soft numbers to love tracks to romantic moods to sad moods , he sang in different genres. In short, he is a singer for every occasion, for every emotion, the power in his voice, its “contemporariness” and the sheer joy and energy it echoed with, worked wonders and there is so much fun in his singing. He began his singing career in 1980 and recorded his first album “Love Songs” and was the first nepali singer to have his own album in CD (Compact Disc). His classic hits were Aau Aba Angalo ma, Hathai Hathai Kati, Timi Mero Jindagi ko Kiran, Yo juni , and Priya Timro to name few met with the resounding success and are still popular among today’s youth.
Suresh Kumar Chettri has always been loved and respected by the Nepali industry. Among the generation of singers, Nabin Bhattarai loves him the most and also sang one of his song -Fika Fika.
